Block B is a nurturing home to 49 talented female students spanning grades 5 to 9, alongside 2 dedicated grade 12 prefects. Our residence is designed to instil a strong sense of community and warmth, fostering bonds of unity and affection. We take great pride in facilitating active participation in various engaging activities, including vibrant discos, Saturday evening indoor games, and culturally enriching events.
Catering to the needs of both primary school girls and junior college students, Block B provides an environment steeped in maternal care. Many of our young residents are on the cusp of self-discovery and are navigating the challenges of puberty. Through unwavering support and group discussions, we guide these budding individuals through this crucial stage of development.
Academic excellence is a paramount focus at Block B, and we wholeheartedly encourage our girls to strive for academic success. Moreover, we actively facilitate collaborative learning and peer tutoring, allowing our residents to make the most of the diverse skill sets present within our Block.

In Block C, we proudly accommodate 49 exceptional kids across grades 9, 10, and two grade 12 students. What sets Block C apart is our unwavering dedication to fostering a fun, open communication, and collaborative idea-sharing environment. We wholeheartedly support each other, offer moral guidance, and emphasise the significance of discipline and thoughtful decision-making. Additionally, we place a strong emphasis on teaching important life principles.
Block D is a place where grades 11 and 12 girls come together to prepare for life after high school. We work as a team to ensure that each girl feels safe, learns, and thrives. We encourage respectful communication and support each other in overcoming challenges. At Block D, we believe that every girl has a voice and something valuable to contribute. “It’s a place that feels like a home away from home.” where discipline is our priority.

NYATHI HOSTEL The male residence at Prestige College accommodates students in grades 9 to 12. The double-storey building can house 52 students, with two students sharing a room. The upper section, Nyathi Up, accommodates 30 students, while the lower section, Nyathi Down, accommodates 22 students. The focus is on academic pursuits, respect for peers, and maintaining good personal hygiene. Grade 12 students in particular are encouraged to study diligently in their rooms for their final exams. The environment promotes meaningful relationships and emphasises cleanliness standards.
Residence events
Residential learners organise several social events. We also celebrate National Day in various fun ways as a residence. Events organized by learners include discos, karaoke nights, etc. Annually, we celebrate Heritage Day, host a Christmas dinner, and acknowledge our top ten academic achievers with a quarterly excursion.
